Raja Krishnan is a Commercialization Manager at the UK Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) and his primary responsibilities include assessment, marketing and licensing of intellectual property in the life sciences area focusing on innovations developed in UK’s Colleges of Pharmacy and Medicine. Raja’s previous commercialization experience includes working as an intellectual property manager at the Illinois Institute of Technology OTC. Prior to that, Raja spent 15+ years working in roles of increasing responsibility in product development for various companies within the Pharmaceutical industry. In those roles, Raja led the development and launch of multiple commercial products. Given his roles in industry he has great knowledge of the FDA regulatory process, furthermore gained a Regulatory and Compliance Graduate Certification from Purdue University and achieved the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) RAC certification in 2013.Additionally, Raja is a graduate of Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad Program for Life Sciences in 2013.He has advised multiple startup companies, including coaching teams through business plan competitions.While doing his MBA he was involved in pitching at multiple business plan competitions, including the Louisville Cardinal Challenge, and the Rice Business Plan Competition. Raja received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Cornell University, a Masters of Science in pharmaceutics from Long Island University, a Masters of Science in law from Northwestern University, and most recently a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
