Mission

The Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship (VACE) at the Gatton College of Business & Economics strategic mission is to provide an experiential learning opportunity for University of Kentucky students, staff, faculty, and the broader Kentucky region. VACE is well known for the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, with the option to receive academic credit for all University of Kentucky current students. We empower Kentucky's entrepreneurs to develop the knowledge, pitching skills, networking connections, and resilience needed to start a business from the ground up, and solve real-world problems. The Center seeks guidance from members on the advisory board as well as regional stakeholders to foster entrepreneurial education through webinars, online accelerator programming, and public events. VACE also connects entrepreneurs with mentors, Kentucky Angel Investors, and free access to downloadable books and templates
