About the Founder:
My name is Shawn Lawson. I am a community entrepreneur located in Lexington, Kentucky. I attended the University of Kentucky from 2018 to 2021, where I walked on to the football team and was inducted into the Frank G. Ham Society of Character. I was also recognized on the SEC Honor Roll in 2018, 2019, and 2021. While at UK, I majored in Sociology and Physics before transferring schools. Although I didn’t graduate, my time at Kentucky
played a major role in shaping who I am today — both as a student athlete and as an entrepreneur.
During college, I founded a nonprofit focused on helping student-athletes transition and excel in their careers after sports. More recently, I launched a for-profit startup to apply both my soft skills and business instincts in a real-world setting. My goal is to turn this into a global brand that redefines wearable technology and human performance.
I’ve already taken steps toward that vision by applying to Five Across, Good Soil forum, and Invest Fest. I’m now seeking greater insight into team building, pitching to investors, and building a business that offers value across multiple sectors. I believe with the right guidance, I can take this company — and myself — to the next level.
Long-term, I also hope to return to school, finish my degree, and complete my football career. For now, I’m focused on building something meaningful and lasting with the resources and drive I have.
