Bootcamp Project Overview: AFO Cyber LLC is redefining scam detection by putting human expertise back at the center of cybersecurity. In an era where most companies rely heavily on artificial intelligence and automated filters to detect scams, AFO Cyber takes a different approach: we prioritize real people over machines. Our service provides fast, accurate, and human-verified scam detection across emails, texts, calls, and even physical mail.

AI often struggles with context, nuance, and evolving scam tactics that fall outside trained datasets. Scammers know this — and are constantly designing new attacks that trick automated systems. At AFO Cyber, every submission is evaluated by trained cybersecurity reviewers who use both technical knowledge and contextual judgment to assess whether a communication is legitimate or a
scam. We don't just flag threats — we provide clear, actionable advice tailored to the specific situation, helping customers respond appropriately
and avoid harm.

Our core offering is a subscription-based platform where individuals and businesses can submit suspicious communications through a secure portal. Subscribers receive detailed scam assessments within 24 hours, along with a risk rating, explanation, and recommended next steps. For businesses, we also offer premium plans that include scam awareness training, curated scam alert newsletters based on emerging threats, and quarterly security consultations.

AFO Cyber is particularly focused on filling gaps left by traditional cybersecurity services. Many anti-spam and phishing filters focus on mass attacks, missing targeted "spear phishing" or highly customized scams. Meanwhile, customers who aren't highly technical often feel lost when trying to decide whether something is suspicious. AFO Cyber bridges this gap by providing accessible, human-to-human cybersecurity support — not just automated rejections or scary warnings without context.

Our target market includes individual consumers concerned about fraud, small businesses without large cybersecurity teams, and vulnerable populations like senior citizens and college students. We also plan to partner with insurance companies and banks that are looking for ways to offer additional fraud prevention services to their customers.

What makes AFO Cyber different is our commitment to real protection through human intelligence. We believe cybersecurity isn’t just about catching threats — it’s about empowering people with the knowledge and support they need to stay safe. Our human-centric model allows us to adapt quickly to new scam tactics and provide nuanced responses that AI simply can’t
replicate.

Currently, our team has developed a working prototype and secured an initial set of early users for beta testing. Our next steps include expanding the review team, finalizing our subscription plans, launching our full web platform, and continuing to grow brand awareness through community outreach and partnerships.

At AFO Cyber LLC, our mission is simple: Real People. Real Protection.
