Wells Bullard is the President and CEO of Bullard, a fifth-generation, family-owned company that designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and sells high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE) that protects people around the world.
Founded in 1898, and the inventor of the hard hat in 1919, Bullard is the premier choice of safety champions and manufactures its innovative, purpose-built hard hats, respiratory protection, fire helmets, and thermal imaging cameras in Cynthiana, Kentucky!
Wells graduated from Stanford University and Harvard Business School.
Wells lives in downtown Lexington with her husband, architect Harding Dowell, and their two children, Hall and Smith. Wells serves on the International Safety Equipment Association Board and the UK College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
