Adontis began his career in 2018 working with JT Davis asset management, a firm based out of Lexington, Kentucky specializing in investment products for clients. Shortly after he began working at Fidelity Investments for the Summer of 2019, working in Stock Plan Services. Fidelity Investments, and at the time was the Nation's largest 401K provider. Working with clients such as Amazon, Nike and other fortune 500 companies. Adontis graduated from The University of Kentucky in December of 2020, shortly after Adontis began working at Acclarity Consulting as a M&A Analyst, where he worked with Family Office and Private Equity Clients. These relationships began to be upheld within the Sports & Entertainment industry, having access to strong deal flow and offerings in companies between the intersection of Sports, Entertainment & Technology. This journey accelerated his commonalities with former pro athletes, sports executives and Fashion influencers. With building his global investment network while in New York, Adontis joined DeepTech Firm Omni Venture Labs based in San Jose, California. Adontis noticed there were not many venture capital firms in the industry who focused on combining culture, venture and entertainment, and a dire need for investing in underrepresented founders who have historically been overlooked. During this time Adontis began receiving deal flow from many mainstream celebrities, some of these celebrities Adontis was a lifelong fan of, this eclipsed his dream of getting strong celebrity deal flow and his Investor community had grown to over 100 VCs throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Given the confidence from his investor network, this was a great moment for Adontis to capitalize on the opportunity to launch Popstar Ventures, an early stage Venture Capital firm focused on Pre-seed and seed investments for underrepresented founders who have historically been overlooked.
