Key Events and Opportunities This Fall
The calendar is packed with events designed to help entrepreneurs at every stage. For those seeking career connections, the 2025 Fall Hire Blue All Majors Career Fair on September 18th is a prime opportunity to connect with potential employers. Aspiring real estate professionals won't want to miss the four-session Fall 2025 Lee Webb Commercial Real Estate Workshop & Pitch Competition, which kicks off on September 9th and culminates in a chance to win a monetary prize.
Networking is a major theme this month. You can join fellow business builders at the Startup Breakfast Meetup on September 17th, a special edition event in partnership with the GAME Change Summit. The 5Across in Lexington! Pitch Competition is another highlight, where five local startups will pitch for a cash prize, and attendees can network with the community. You can also connect with like-minded individuals at the The Camel Club or through the various events hosted by the NAWBO Kentucky Chapter and Lexington Strong Women Strong Coffee.
Educational and Showcase Events
The VACE has also highlighted a number of educational and showcase events. The newsletter points to the VACE Yearbook Fall 2024 - Summer 2025, which details the achievements of the past year, including the successes of the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp. Speaking of which, the GSE Summer Grads Join Fall 2025 Bootcamp! are a testament to the program's continued impact. The "The Art of The Pivot" webinar and the 2025 Fall Expo: UNDRCVR Lex Tech, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Showcase offer additional educational and inspirational content. The newsletter also features Kentucky Angel Featured Company, Krew, a nod to the local success stories that the VACE ecosystem helps to foster.
