March 2023 (Lexington, Ky) - The 18th Annual CCTS Spring Conference will be held on March 27, 2023 in the Gatton Student Center (in-person). The Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship hosts its 6th annual poster pitch competition during the conference. Full conference agenda and registration details are forthcoming. CCTS/VACE Poster Pitch Event Overview
All poster pitches will be LIVE and in front of an audience!
If you submit to the poster sessions, you will be eligible for the Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship "60-second Poster Pitch" competition. Competition is limited to the first 25 applicants to sign up via the abstract submission process (there is no waiting list). Poster presenters will be given 60 seconds to "Pitch Your Poster."
Those who sign-up must attend a 1-hour coaching session on how to organize and deliver a 60-second pitch. Only those who sign-up and attend an online coaching session via zoom will be officially entered into the competition.
Zoom coaching session dates:
March 21 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm (Tuesday)
March 23 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm (Thursday)

The "poster pitch" will be judged on the following criteria:
- Clarity of Presentation (60%)
- Potential to Create New Therapies (40%)
$2,000 in Total Prizes
- $850 for 1st place
- $600 for 2nd place
- $400 for 3rd place
- $150 for Judges Choice Award
