CCTS & Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship "60-second Elevator Pitch" Competition

On Thursday, April 8th, The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is teaming up with The Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurshipfor the fourth year in a row to host the  "60-second Elevator Pitch" Competition.  This virtual event is an opportunity for a small number of poster presenters to receive training and prizes from the Von Allmen Center.  The first twenty (20) presenters who sign-up will be invited to attend a 1-hour coaching session on how to organize and deliver a 60-second pitch. Only those who sign-up and attend a coaching session will be officially entered into the competition. Poster presenters will be given 60 seconds to "Pitch Your Poster."


The "poster pitch" will be judged on the following criteria:

1) 60% Clarity of Presentation

2) 40% Potential to Create New Therapies


Prizes will be awarded:

$500 for 1st place

$250 for 2nd place

$150 for 3rd place

$100 for the VACE Director's Choice Award

2) Follow THIS link to enter the competition.  If selected, you will be contacted by February 19, 2021.

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) Spring Research Day is held in conjunction with the College of Dentistry, The College of Nursing, and the TISA Alliance.  This multidisciplinary event is focused on celebrating research efforts, sharing research findings, disseminating best practices, enhancing collaborations, and mentoring the upcoming generation of translational researchers.
